Curdling it

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeese!

..don't smile people,
there's no camera here.
this is the real story about cheese, :)

Cheese or Kaas, this delicious food must have resulted from the simple observation that milk leftover for some time ends up by coagulating, even more if it is hot.
Holland is unquestionable "cheeseland", this small country exports abundant of dairy products. they're hundreds of different types of cheese that can be differentiated by the animal - cow, goat, sheep and other mammals and by the making process... such as gouda, edam, cheddar, mozzarella.
..and for the cheeselover, ..not only fat is contained in cheese, but there's lots of calcium, protien and phosphorous also.

Wanna make some cheese?, just put a bit of lemonade in your milk and give it some time,
..this is so called, curdling process.

Freedom in the air

Liberation day or "Bevrijdingsdag" is celebrated each year on May 5 in the Netherlands to mark the end of the German occupation during the second World War.

Today we went to Stadspark, there's the concert and festivals. We sit in the sunshine and music, dancing a bit and eating a cloudy candy...
hmm,...such a nice day...
I'm happy.

how many degree is your spicy!!

I have 2 kinds of friends,
upper and lower level of spicy :)

At home, we didn't eat too much spicy.
my floormates are quite lower level.
But with my asian friends,
our gang're really enjoy eating hot food,
we cannot alive without chillies.
This always reminds me my homecountry...
where I can find hot&spicy&yummy food
anytime everywhere..

For me, I rate myself 8.5 out of 10.
How about you...

Goooood morning...

Wake up so early today,

In my balcony

Something is growing.....

...and I'll try not forget

as long as the longest...

Feel and Touch

I have read the article from TAT news. There's a new tourism project of TAT, quite interesting.....It's a bit like what we do in the university as a volunteer. But this is more officially and more open into public.

"Meaningful tourism"
..We are picking rocks up off a streambed in hilly Thailand. Try to help a village from water scarcity problem by building six mini dams.

Discovering different ideas and experiences are part of the evolving educational tourism sector. As individuals travelling to help others, they are part of what is being called “voluntourism”, travellers who want to expand their horizons and perspectives, to have a life-changing experience.

There are also academic-led trips that engage with an ethnic group or offer instruction from local experts, such as cooking with spices and herbs, studying a different religion, conversing with artists and architects, or sitting in a forest with flora and fauna specialists as they catalogue the immediate environment. There are meditation retreats. And there are homestay experiences, to experience the lifestyle of a particular group of people.

Your heart will lead you home

sunny days and starry nights
lazy afternoons
you count the castles in the clouds
and hum little tunes

but somehow right before your eyes
the sun fades away
everything is different
and everything has change

if you feel lost and on your own
and far from home
you never alone, you know

just think of your friends
the ones who care
they all will be waiting there
with love to share
and your heart will lead you home

funny how a photograph can take you back in time
to places and embraces
that you thought you left behind

they say that home is where your heart is
so follow your heart know that you can't go wrong

coffee....break

Just quite bored of staying at home and working the whole day...
..we go out a bit to a cafe.

There's a good coffee with nice jazz&jam music,
making my afternoon much more nice...

..and I.. just miss the time I were seeing you play drums a lot.
..even I couldn't understand your music that much, I just do miss it.

Wallet Mission!

Last weekend was the Queen's day here in holland. It's a very big festival. People went around celebrated. There's a lot of concerts, shows and blabla ........also there's "free market", which people can sell everything they want, kids came to sell their old toys. Many people sold second hand and antique things. It was very nice.

my friends and me were also selling somethings :)
..we sold handmade-recycled-wallets..hihi~,
it's my friend, Ana's idea. We collected milk and juice cartons from our housing from every floors. The night before queen's day, we sit together and made them. It was so great that everyone's gathering together and made it happened. Ana, Levi, Lulu, Nurcan, Heye, Rafiq and me, we were sitting there almost whole night.

....and we succeed, everyone's happy and we have a lot of fun. we have sold around 160 pieces of them. It's fun and so wonderful when we saw that people like them .
ahh...and we also have a website, take a look at www.pantominas.com :)

To discover

To wake up every morning
and do something on behalf of the natural world..
..is one of the best job I would like .....to have..

Hold on to, and take a chance, on to my dreams.
I may not be successful everytime, but I will have enough time ....
to feel proud of myself, I think....

and of what contributing to ensure that the world will left in better shape
than we found it.
